White tuna fillets in olive oil: also known as  tonno alalunga,  the tuna fish  breeds in deep waters and its flesh is rich in vitamins and protein.

The fillets are low in fat and rich in flavor. Preserving the fillets in olive oil gives them their characteristic pale colour.
